Chapter 7 (1/28/14)

Just a quick note to say, “Thank You” to everyone who is helping Jesse with your donations, your contacts and their support, your prayers and words of encouragement and to everyone who has acted to help him in any way they can.

We are glad to report that he’s starting to make the big turn toward recovery from the New Year’s surgery and getting closer to only be focused on physical rehab.  He should have his tracheotomy out very soon and should be eating/drinking like the rest of us soon after that.  Jesse continues to prove he’s the toughest guy in the world – pushing himself to do rehab when he’s nauseous for several days in a row!

Every day he amazes us with his toughness and as his Dad I can say I could not be more proud of him. I’m humbled by his amazing attitude, personality, grit and determination.  Everyone who has helped him in any way can consider yourself part of Team Jesse and if you haven’t joined yet, please do soon – it means a lot to him.  Thank you.
